Contestant Fast Facts

To be a contestant you must:

• Be a single and never married woman.
• Be a high school graduate between the age of 17 - 24 years old.
• Be a United States citizen.
• Meet residency requirements for competing in the State of Maine.
• Meet character criteria as set forth by the Miss America Organization.
• Be in reasonably good health to meet the job requirements.
• Be able to meet the time commitment and job responsibilities as a possible title holder.
