Pine Tree Prince/Princess Program
The Pine Tree Prince/Princess Program is designed to give young ladies and gentlemen ages 5-13 the opportunity to be involved with the Miss Maine Scholarship Pageant without competing. Each Pine Tree Prince/Princess will attend the Pre-pageant Clinic, meet Miss Maine and Miss Maine’s Outstanding Teen, perform on stage at the pageant, have a photo in the program book, be mentored by one of our titleholders, and much more! Each Pine Tree Princess receives a tiara of her very own. There is a nonrefundable entry fee which goes directly to the Miss Maine Scholarship Pageant Fund.
Participation is for one full year that includes participation in one Miss Maine Pageant. Throughout the year, there are several additional activities planned which each participant may take part, including performance opportunities at the annual Springtime Gala. It also includes a mentoring program for each contestant by one of our titleholders.
The Pine Tree Prince/Princess Program helps each of the participants gain self-confidence and poise while teaching the importance of volunteering and the enjoyment that is received through giving. It is an opportunity for each member to learn from wonderful role models such as past and present Miss Maine titleholders, pageant contestants and volunteers.
