About Adrienne Watkinson - 2008
Adrienne Watkinson is a 23 year old violinist and is the daughter of Margaret and Chris Watkinson of Topsham, ME. Adrienne is a recent graduate of The Cleveland Institute of Music, where she studied with David Russell. There she received a Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Performance and will be attending DePaul University for a Master of Music in March 2009, studying with Ilya Kaler. Adrienne will be working with The American Music Therapy Association to promote her platform in Maine, The Healing Power of Music in order to raise awareness of the importance of Music Therapy in Maine's hospitals. Adrienne is a graduate of The Walnut Hill School of the Arts, and was accepted into The Canton Symphony last fall. Adrienne will be performing "Zigeunerweisen" by Pablo Sarasate at Miss America in January.
