Miss Maine's Outstanding Teen 2019
A proud resident of New Gloucester, Jane Lipp is 16 years old. Jane attends Greely High School and is in her junior year. For her community service platform, Jane created Drivers Wanted, an initiative that invites her peers to support non-profit organizations through quarterly community and school-based drives. Jane participates in Student Government, the Maine Youth Action Network, and is a member of the Global Awareness Club. She loves to run and play tennis, and is on Greely’s Varsity Girls Tennis Team. Jane also loves to dance and sing, and has had the opportunity to perform in WPOR-sponsored events with country superstars such as Chris Lane, Rae Lynn and Scotty McCreary. She has also performed in several community and summer theater programs including Fiddlehead Center for the Arts and the Maine State Music Theatre. Jane first competed for the title of Miss Maine’s Outstanding Teen in 2018, and was proud to win the Congeniality award and be named First Runner Up. She is thrilled to be representing Maine in this special way, and looks forward to helping other teen girls find their voice and gain confidence through the Miss Maine Scholarship Program.
